The Heir works with most traditional wristwatches. Here's a quick breakdown:

Size: Circular or square/rectangular casebacks 34mm or larger.

Caseback material: Stainless steel, titanium, ceramic, and sapphire crystal all work great. Wood and carbon fiber depend on the specific watch — send us a photo and we'll confirm.

Caseback surface: Smooth and flat is ideal. Light engraving (brand logos, serial numbers) is usually fine. Exhibition casebacks are completely fine. Deep engraving may reduce contact area but the natural pressure from your wrist helps hold The Heir in place during wear.

Straps: Works with all strap types — leather, metal, NATO, rubber. For NATO straps, simply slide The Heir under the strap so it contacts the caseback.

Watch safety: No impact on water resistance, servicing, or resale value. Safe for mechanical, automatic, and quartz movements.

The Heir has a 42-hour battery life under normal use — covering two full days of activity tracking and notifications on a single charge.

Battery life varies based on notification frequency and connection signal strength. Heavy notification users may see slightly shorter battery life.

Included with your purchase is an Heir charging dock:

• Remove The Heir from your watch
• Place The Heir into the charging dock — it seats securely
• Connect the USB-C end to any standard charger or USB port
• Full charge takes approximately 90 minutes

In the mobile app, you'll see a battery charging indicator while The Heir is docked.

When the battery drops below 20%, The Heir delivers a distinct long haptic pulse and you'll receive a low battery notification in the Ganance app.

At 5% or below, The Heir pulses again and enters a low-power mode to preserve remaining charge until you can plug in.

The microsuction surface can collect dust and skin oils over time, reducing grip. To restore adhesion:

• Wipe the microsuction surface with a wet wipe or damp towel
• Air dry completely
• Reattach

This process can be repeated many times. If adhesion doesn't return after cleaning, contact us.

Check the following:

• The Ganance app has notification permissions in your phone's Settings
• The specific apps are enabled in Ganance app → Settings → Notifications
• Your phone isn't in Do Not Disturb mode
• The Heir shows as connected on the Ganance app home screen
• Battery saver or background refresh settings aren't blocking the Ganance app

A few things to check:

• Confirm your height and weight are set correctly in Ganance app → Profile — these affect calorie calculations
• Tracking accuracy improves over the first few days as the app calibrates to your movement patterns

The app syncs wirelessly — keep your phone reasonably close to The Heir. If data seems stale:

• Confirm your phone is connected to WiFi
• Bring your phone close to The Heir and pull down to refresh in the app
• Confirm background app refresh is enabled for Ganance in your phone's settings
• Force close and reopen the app

Data from periods when your phone was out of range is stored on The Heir and syncs automatically when you reconnect.

We offer a 14-day return window from the date your order is delivered. Items must be in original condition with original packaging.

Pre-orders can be cancelled at any time before shipping for a full refund — no return needed.

The Heir comes with a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

• Hardware malfunctions not caused by physical damage
• Battery defects (significant capacity loss in year one)

The warranty does not cover damage from drops, water exposure beyond rated limits, or unauthorized modifications.
